Middle management
$3/$6, 6 players.
Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Loose passive UTG limps, 34/13/1.2 HJ limps, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks. Flop (4 SB, 4 players): A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero bets, BB folds, UTG calls, HJ raises, Hero calls, UTG calls. Turn (5 BB, 3 players): T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero donks, intending to call down if raised again. Too conservative? |

Re: Middle management
no its not too conservative. conservative would just be check calling down. HJ rarely limps after UTG limps with a hand where his kicker matters (AK-AT) or JJ so we pretty much have the nuts. I dont know if HJ ever raises the flop with KJ after ur bet and a call but no reason to risk a freecard and mine as well try to get UTG to come along with KJ or QJ now that they picked up the gutter. We also have 9 outs vs KQ if either has that so bet calling down seems solid.
