Re: Has the game change
every time i've played 1/2nl at atlantic city this has pretty much been the case.... everybody limps when they have the chance, and you always get multiple callers for $12 preflop... position does mean absolutely nothing to most of these players, which is why i have a lot of fun when i play live and make sure to get drunk towards the end when i realize regardless of how much worse these players are i still cant pull a solid profit

Re: Has the game change
[ QUOTE ]
well i get no cards and not playing hand for 2 hours [/ QUOTE ] Loosen up. In these kind of games specualtive hands like suited connectors go up in value and big aces go down in value. The reason big aces are less valuable is because in multiway pots you'll often need more than top pair to take down the pot. Try to see a lot of cheap flops in position with suited connectors, suited gap connectors, even offsuit connectors and suited two gap connectors. Try to flop big and outplay your opponents postflop. Your opponents are too loose. You dont take advantage of that by playing ultra tight, you take advantage of it by using implied odds to flop big with speculative hands and extracting max value from those incapable of laying down 2nd pair+. Go set mining with small-med pairs, and play the big pairs strong. If 4xbb raises get 5 callers, try with 8 and see if that thins the field. If that doesnt work, go higher, as high as needed, because big pairs is not happy about 2+ callers Oh, and bring extra cash, because these games got high variance. Expect to win fewer but bigger pots. |

Re: Has the game change
[ QUOTE ]
I am playing in a $2-$5 at the resorts in east chicago, and its one of the biggest VP$IP that I have seen. $5 family pots. raise to $18 and getting 4 callers $35 is getting 2 callers, $50 preflop is the only thing getting players out, position mean nothing to the table, it seam like a great game to be in, wild but not good i'm thinking. well i get no cards and not playing hand for 2 hours, I had JJ but hand to fold to a re-raise he had KK. I have TT and have $68 left and go all in and get call buy A3o. Has the game change and i just dont know it [/ QUOTE ] The game chang if 50 bicks gets everyone out of the pot! That and Resorts finally has 2-5....try Majestic Star 1/2! |

Re: Has the game change
Yes, the game has change. If it's your small blind and you put in 1 $5 chip you get $3 single chips back.
