17" laptop with dual 30"s

that video card appears to be the same video card as in the MacBook Pro.

however, it quotes:
"Dual integrated 400MHz RAMDACs for analog display resolutions up to and including 2048x1536 at 85Hz"

I think this means it can't run analog resolutions (ie, anything plugged into the blue vga port) beyond that resolution.

tbh, i've never heard of an analog resolution higher than that, short of movie cinemas.

You can hook the second 30'' up to the VGA port, but you just wont be able to run it at its highest resolution. This may or may not suit your needs.

If you could get an external second dual-link DVI then yes, it would be able to work.
