Default Golf noob set

A couple of my friends already golf occasionally and me and a couple other friends are gonna start next spring. I've shot a round of golf exactly once in my life, but I chip & putt occasionally. My one friend who just started got This Set off of eBay and he said it was ok. Does anyone know if this is a decent set or if the clubs will break in half after a few uses? I can't seem to find ANY reviews online about this set.

Actually, he didn't get the tall set, but I'm 6'5" so that's the one I'd probably be looking at (am I right?)

I expect the clubs are fine for an introductory set.
The main thing is to get started and play!

The extra inch length is probably a good starting place for someone 6'5".

After a year's play or so, you might start looking at other clubs that may work better for you.
At that time, a good fitting lesson would be worthwhile.
