[quotebut you sare talking about POTLIMIT omaha high not LIMIT omaha high right?

i mean limit omaha high is pretty nonexistent.

Rotation games like ROE, HORSE, etc. are often played as limit games. In fact, I believe that the big game in Bobby's Room, depending on when it is and who's playing, includes both limit and pot limit Omaha.

O in ROE and Horse is almost always limit omaha/8. Very rarely will you ever see limit omaha hi played, and almost never in mix games.

I doubt Farha wrote more than a few lines.

Farha probably didn't write the book at all. He provided the material and his ghostwriter wrote it for him.

With the minimal amount of books on Omaha available, I'm at least willing to take a look at the book. My PLO game sucks anyways. I'm not a noob, but definitely not super advanced in the game. I'll probably wait until you guys review it.

There is a guy that comes into the card room where I play and has them start an interest list almost every Friday night for 10/20 limit Omaha high only. they get a game going once every 6 months or so...

Don't get me wrong, I am HUGE fish at Omaha, no matter the form.

I will say that it will take a good review for me to buy the book, judging from the first few pages. There are so few books that I am willing to look at sight-unseen.

For 15 bucks there is nothing that will prevent me from buying it to see what Farha has to say about a game he is supposedly best at.
Quit acting like spoiled kids and be grateful that the top pros are willing to share something with people in a first place.

[/ QUOTE ]

If Sammy actually does have any "secrets" that give him an edge, do you really think he would put them in a book? He plays super high limits. That could be disastrous for him.

Following up on my own post -- it is true that limit Omaha Hi has been played at the big game, but it's been very rare (rarer than I thought). I know that limit Omaha Hi has been played in some online tourneys because I've played them, but I can't find one today.

The last regular limit Omaha Hi game I could get confirmation of is at the Horseshoe -- $4/$8, mostly on weekends, and it's supposed to be pretty much no-fold'em-Omaha.

So, for the most part, there is one place where one can find a limit Omaha game...and Farha has written a book on how to beat this one game? Hell...I might try it.

Boulder Station also spreads a pretty wild 4-8 Limit Omaha game. I don't play in it but frequently see $500+ stacks. It is also one of the few remaining smoking rooms which is one of the reasons I choose not to play there.
