at the end of the preview there was a half second blip of the movie's credits. i am pretty sure i saw "big robot" or "the bad robot" or something similar in bold.

was that misdirection or is it in fact going to be about a giant killer robot?

Hmm I saw the trailer as well I thought the whole time it was godzilla, which is meh i might see it.

I'm pretty sure I read on harry knowles website that this was a monster movie (not Godzilla) shot entirely in pseudo documentary hand-held blair witch type style.

I think it has potential but I was actually not all that impressed by the trailer.
