Default raise flop and fire turn?

I basically raised this flop for value and to protect my hand from overs. Does anyone fire turn against unknown and if so how much?

200 nl, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

saw flop

Button ($117.38)
SB ($562.25)
BB ($130.24)
UTG UTG ($203.00)
UTG+1 ($248.55)
CO Hero ($197.00)

Preflop: Hero is in the CO with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG raises to 7.00, 1 fold, Hero calls 7.00, 3 folds.

Flop (17.00) 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG bets 13.00, Hero raises to 34.00, UTG calls 21.00.

Turn (85.00) A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG checks, Hero ????

I'm checking this for pot control and taking the river as it comes. He'll never fold Ax now but you needn't really worry about any 10-K on the river. If villain is super-weak-tight you might be able to shift him off 1010-JJ now but you'd need a good read for that.

Plan if villain fires on the ace turn (which if he's semi-decent he will since it's into his range)?

i wouldn't raise the flop on that board against an unknown utg raiser. i'd usually call 2 barrels there, nomatter what the turn is.

What range do you put him on that you beat on the turn?

Calling flop is fine - standard. But UTG bets an ace turn and you still look him up?? 99+, A10+ all beat you. He might double barrel with QK and possibly the odd 'mix it up' hand like mid-SC's but basically as I see it nearly every hand in a moderate UTG raising range has 99 crushed on this ace turn.

if he's a good player, he'll double barrel there with anything he raises with utg, which is maybe 22-AA, AJ+, KQ+, ATs+, or whatever. that's probably about a 60/40 in favor of the range, most of which won't fire 3 times. if he's a bad player, or a loose player, who knows, but you're still in about the same shape i think, and not usually facing a 3rd barrel from a lesser hand.

If you are raising flop for value then you think by his call you are still ahead then Id probably check turn the majority of the time and try and get another bet out of him on the river (or induce a bluff). I doubt you are ahead very often if he calls your raise on the flop, with no reads, it is not that drawy.
