No hands on either player. Ok, so who likes a cbet here? I figure the button is likely to give me credit since I'm basically gonna be showing down w/ the shortstack, but am not sure. Thoughts?

Just c/f, they aren't folding a pair, and they don't have AT or 76s often enough. Also, if you check and MP shoves and button folds, you can call. But I don't like betting here at all.

c/f unless the shorty shoves and the button just calls.

pairs are a pretty big part of the buttons range and he is unlikely to bluff the flop if checked to so you get a free cards

Why not cbet, floptexture is good? The shortstack have like 10bbs left, guess he's not folding any hand at all, and if he does have an 8, J or a 3 ur not that way behind.
