Villian is 58/11/2 after 60 hands. He is only down 12BB considering he called an all-in on the river with JJ on a AK high 3-flush board. However, I have not seen him initiate an all-in up to this point. Also, I haven't seen him put money in past the flop without some sort of hand.

Truly a tough spot. I lean towards paying these guys tho. If you're roll isn't what it should be or whatever, I can't argue with mucking. Nice thing is, you can get your money back from these guys fairly quickly as long as they don't skate with the $17 I'm about to give them. We're probably a hair better than his range tho. That said tho, 60 hands isn't much, and you sound like you want to fold [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I just see these types of players play a huge hand a bit slower than this. I think we'll see a draw here or A8 or whatever fairly often.

Sounds like a typical donk, loose, overvalues one pair. You'll see A8 or a bluff very often here, I think we've got equity on calling against his range.

I agree he is a typical donk. So why call now when he could wait for a hand with better EV. A winning spot is a common thing against donks.

To all those saying we have equity to call against his range here.Unless A8 makes up a huge percentage of his range this is as clear a fold as you get. Feel thankful he let you off cheaply.

You're flipping (45% - so slightly behind) against bare flush draws with two overs. Clear fold.

Tough but seems like a fold. Like others have posted, why do it now and take a pretty big chance when you can pick a better spot.

Against this stack I fold. I run into this situation all the time against these type of stacks and I'm always up against JJ+. Against a smaller stack they like to get it in with mid pairs, draws, stupid stuff like that but medium shortstackers love to play this type of hand tricky. I bet you called and he had QQ and then instantly left the table god damnit I hate them.

Without a strong read, like slowplays big hands and bluffs weak, this is a pretty easy laydown....

Generally against a button min raise, If I am going to Repop in this spot OOP, I am raising it to 3.25 or 3.50. Basically making it incorrect for smaller pp/sc's to call and play against us, and also helping to define the villains hand.

However with a hand like 99 OOP, I don't mind smooth calling, and then C/C, or leading a flop like this, with the intention of keeping the pot manageable and seeing a showdown with the villain.

As played, pretty much instamuck, I don't know about you, but I don't like calling off my chips with a mid pair here without some pretty good history/read involved.
