Early in the game, no reads no stats, how do you play it? Raise preflop? Fold river?

I play it exactly the same. Folding here would be terrible.

Perfect spot to check and induce a bluff from missed draws or a "value bet" from 2 pair; and if he inexplicably slowplayed a straight on the Turn we don't want to bet into him and face a big raise.

There's not actually that much for you to be afraid of here. He might have a set of J, be playing a straight in a strange donkish way. I probably raise the river.
This decision, as always, will be heavily read dependent. What type of player was the villain?

Anybody else wanting to get it in here? I'd think even 55 would raise the turn here. He may think you've got a draw given your river check.

Its a fold. I really hate the bet size.

ps If it was a different bet you should c/c with pretty much any pair.
