Poker is starting to annoy me. This is the past 4 days. I had plans to play more hands but I've lost a ton of motivation.

what do you guys say to yourself when you play like crap all day and make money?

i just always say 'wow, i was so lucky to make money today. all i can do is try to play well tomorrow'

im annoyed that i'm not up more, but try not to beat myself up about it too much. should i be harder on myself? i know that in the long run this [censored] matters, yet it feels so great to win when you play crap that i try not to worry about it too much.

this is a pretty dumb post...but i think you can all relate.

i usually stop pretty soon when im playing bad, so its not like i put in lots of hands spewing and getting there. if i would, however, id probably review some of my biggest winners and seek better lines than i took. i bet youll find that some of them were actually not as bad as you thought.

edit: ah, yeah, i hate it when im up like 4 stacks and then lose 3 and am hardly break even (up 1/2 or w/e). but since i hardly ever spew/tilt, ill just hate myself for not quitting at hand xy. all im doing against this is trying to get into the "one big session" mentality more and more. its hard.
