Default $20 Stars SNG - What is going on here?....

1. $20 SNG are played at a level my simple brain can't comprehend
2. There are a lot of morons about
3. Some form of elaborate 4-way collusion?

Special merit to anyone who can guess who has the winning hand and what it was before they look

1. UTG raises way too much, a limp or maximum a standard raise to 90 is the best play - I don't play the best play here so I fold with 99 UTG at lvl 2.
2. Buttons play after the 330 raise is OK, normally he should have raised 3x first raise.
3. Well, what to say about SB. He is overestimating pot odds here. Not a good move if you are a winning STT-player.
4. BB is looking at even more interesting potodds, but as with SB - it's not +EV for a winning player.
5. Back to UTG. Pot odds are really nice, but he cant have much more than two outs here..

No collusion, only bad STT-players.

a) I really doubt this is collusion but if you suspect it is, the thing to do would be to email stars support and ask them to investigate.

b) I don't really see any strategy content. UTG's initial raise and subsequent call are bad. Button played the hand reasonably well. The blinds suck. That's about all there is to it.

c) You played the hand perfectly.

d) Locked.
