Default The pesky AQ

I am always at loss with AQ in these kind of situations. AQ always seems to end up as the second best hand. I tend to min-raise on A high flops, and any comment on how else to play would be nice. My opponent is fishy with 34/15/0.86, but he is not doing any thing incredibly dumb.

Why did you minraise flop? Make it 70 to go

You are raising to get value from hands like AJ, AT? Seems borderline to me. The min-raise was to get him to check on the turn and for a cheap show down, if possible. I can always re-evaluate, if he checks on the river again.

Looks fine. I don't particularly like minraise, but maybe it works for you.

I'm rarely calling here pre with 7 left to act. The hand plays a lot better when you end up in pos.

I usually call flop? If I decide there was value in a raise I would raise properly.

yeah really, either bet for value or don't. poker is not about taking weird lines and letting people draw for free to avoid tough decisions
