Absolute conspiracy theory #7813446. New!!
This has not been mentioned or discussed yet, so here it goes.
Within 2-7 days of the first accusations of cheating at Absolute, there was alot of stink in the air. AP denied cheating blah blah. During this [censored] storm, AP decided to not only DENY cheating accusations, but they ADDED higher limit NL tables (25/50). This seems odd: 1)The very small player pool at HSNL probably didn't warrent a need for higher limits in the firstplace, but whatever.. 2)The player pool DURING the scandal was probably down to like <5 players. Nobody was playing HSNL. So Absolute is accused of cheating, and all of the regular, winning HSNL players left. So they decide at that time to add HIGHER LIMIT TABLES? This seems really suspicious. Please discuss possible motivations for their action during that time frame. I'll start: Maybe they needed to facilitate chip-dumping at a faster rate. (eg.. crate NL tables with 10k buyin, so the cheats could chipdump the rest really quick before the truth got out). I mean, they knew 2 + 2 was hot on the trail, and it was only a matter of time before they would have to admit to cheating. |

I'm like 99% sure 25/50 was available before the scandal was realized.
