What do you mean? What are we supposed to be looking at? WHat do you want us to tell you? You just posted the results of the hand. You didn't post any of the action at all.

L0L. funny stuff. OP didnt even ask a question...

Since both hands involve split pots I would imagine he is not understanding how the pot can be split up like that. And to that I will say to just remember that the best 5 cards win and no player can win more than what he puts in. You have 4 players, all with different chipstacks, all going to the river, so you are going to be comparing cards 3 times.

Oh I get it know. You want to know why multiple people are winning money on the same hand? Correct?

Well...There was a sidepot (There were actually multiple sidepots in this hand).

If you think the money was given out incorrectly then you are wrong.

Simpler Example:
Say player A is all-in for 600. Player B is all-in for 1000 and player c calls 1000.

600 from each player goes into 1 pot. The extra 400 from player b and player c goes into a different pot.

All players can win the 1800 pot but only players b and c can win the 800 pot.

So it is possible that if player a has the best hand he wins the 1800 but he can't win the 800 so then whoever has the better hand between player b and player c wins the 800.

Your hand is a little more complicated since there are 2 sidepots but its the same idea.

ok, and thx cowboy. I guess this will just remain a nagging query in my mind. I cannot see hot 5,8 beat my K8. I will study it again to see if I missed somthing but don't think I did.
Thx.

58 did not beat you. You were only eligible to win the pot that COwboy Vegas won with his straight.

The pot that 85 won you were not in. You contributed no money to that pot and as such were not eligible to win it. Your hand was not even looked at for that pot. It was like you didn't even exist.
