Andy, can you explain your thinking on 4th street? On first read, I thought it was slow playing, to disguise your (probably ahead right now) hand.

But then this is high/low, so checking and giving him a free card to make his low, even a rough 8, would make this hand a lot less EV for you.

Would you c/f 5th if he caught low and you bricked?

no danger of a free card .. the street gets bet anyway as a brick checking to a baby almost always bets .. it disguises his hand to set up the play on 5th which also was a mandatory bet by the villian- the other nice thing was the pot was kept small to make 5th a standard fold if the villian caught an ace.

believeit or not, i think sixth is the most intersting street.

if seat 2 had A23 or A24, woudln't he three bet another low and get it HU? so that means he's calling the complete with the most likley hand of 3 babies. the way fifth went where villain just called instead of 3 betting on ugly cards would lean me towards him having a 4 low and was just attacking your ugly looking board. why wouldn't villain put in an extra bet on a big bet street if he knew your opponent couldn't fold to another bet? also, a paired board or low card could kill action....so if another scare card like an ace or deuce or board pairing card hit on sixth, Andy would be done.

hero would check call all the way if the board blank for villain and because villian just called fifth and then put action in on sixth when he hit low AFTER there was a raise on fifth, the 2 seat is going to have low a majority of the time. the fold equity just isn't there. . .

so, i'd be very suprised if seat 2 didnt' chop UNLESS andy was running over the game and seat 2 decided to be the sheriff/enforcer.

actually, it'd be sick if seat 2 had a set and was trapping Andy on sixth.

so the 2 hands are: seat 2 free rolling a low OR slow playing a set of kings, didn't improve seventh and got scooped.

either hand would make sense to me.

IMO, it's an easy call on 5th if villain catches a 3-7 because Andy's still ahead for high. And because villain will have xx28(3-7), we know he won't have a straight yet. If villain catches an Ace on 5th I'm not so sure.

On fourth, I'm probably not much of a favorite, and I think there's almost no chance that dsaxton is folding. I figure that one bet is going in either way, and I don't want two bets going in if dsaxton really has a hand.

I'd probably fold fifth if dsaxton caught an Ace and I didn't get any help. Anything else and I probably press on.
