I'd always raise with AK in early stages. If it's a low stakes donkament I'll go all in pf with it if the pot is worthwhile since there's plenty of players who will call or push with A8 + during the first level. The only time I would ever really lay it down pf is in a big multi way all in where it doesn't play as well vs. several opponents. One vs. one i feel good about it though.

1) People go broke with STUPID hands in low stakes MTT's.

2) Doubling up is really nice and takes a lot of pressure off stretches when you go card dead and everyone calls your steals and C-bets. If you can get it in against a likely range of A7+,55+,KQ, you're a 60% favorite. Do eet.

3) Heck yes I play it. I raise. If there's a raise, I re-raise. Once in a great while, I call on the button. If I get re-raised, I give a lot of thought to pushing.

This is a joke right? The only hands ahead of AK are pairs and all but two of those pairs are coin flipping vs AK. In just about any online tournament if you only had the choice to open push or open fold with Ak you should always push.

AK pre-flop gets correct odds nearly all of the other hands. Only underdog against AA and KK. I'm not folding AK unless raise and RRAI came to me.
