40 dollars on FTP for first person who helps me get logged in

Haven't played on ftp with this comp in a while and for some reason it's not allowing me to log in; It will say trying again under the processing bar, then about 20 seconds later it says unable to connect. I'm not computer inept but I dunno wtf this could possibly be happening. My roommate said my firewall is not on and he also tryed checking out the ports or something and said it should be working fine. I recently moved my comp to a different location but don't see why that should have an affect on my ability to log in.

I had 1.1k xfered to FTP for the FTOPS tonight so I need to be able to get on within 30 min. 40 bucks to whoever helps me resolve

unplug ur modem and the outlet for a minute and replug it

you could try re-downloading the FTP installer and reinstalling, in case there was some problem getting the latest update

also yeah, double check that your roommate was right about the firewall... start - settings - control panel - windows firewall, also check in the system tray (bottom right corner of the screen) for a firewall other than windows firewall

Sell your laptop.

Or:

1) unplug modem
2) uninstall software
3) replug in modem
4) download newest version and install into NEW directy (just add 01 to the end of directory they suggest)
