I am working on trusting my reads more, being mindful of pot size of course

I felt good about this one vs a LP who I played a lot with today. I guess there is a chance that he had AQ, but the pot is small and there are a lot of straight/set/2pair combos that he would play like this

Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $10/$20
5 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (5 players) yourface is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG folds, CO calls, Button folds, yourface calls, BB checks.

Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($30, 3 players)
yourface checks, BB checks, CO checks.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($30, 3 players)
yourface bets $20, BB raises to $40, CO folds, yourface folds.

yourface you do realize your 84 hand against the average opponent is an easy 3-bet right?
(mainly cause of the two flush draws)

Id need a REALLLY good read to lay that down... hope u had one :0

sure did
I agree about the 3bet vs an average player, but this dude was far from average

I played 325 hands with him this afternoon and never saw him raise less than 2pair ever. no bluffs/semibluffs either
