Re: 200NL - AK -> TPTK
Looks like 33/77 most of the time given villain's stats. I hate folding this, but folding to villain's flop raise is probably best.

Re: 200NL - AK -> TPTK
Fold to his flop raise readless, it's 5handed and you're pretty much repping AJ+,AA,33,77 when he raises you his range is so heavily weighted towards sets, sometimes 2pr and very rarely AJ+
Edit: I didn't even see his stats, although it's over 25 hands I don't think he ever does this w/ anything you beat if the stats turn out to be accurate (AF in particular, but we need more hands) |

Re: 200NL - AK -> TPTK
okay. so against what kind of a opponent would u play this hand like I played it? 35/10/4 or something like that? or only against total donks, like 45+/25+/8+

Re: 200NL - AK -> TPTK
WP against against nr2
Nr1...is tougher, when it's 5handed and the board is so dry - I'm not sure if even a 35/10/4 raises weaker A's here enough of the time to make it worth while. But maybe, it's probably close |

Re: 200NL - AK -> TPTK
1.) Not stupid, but daring as you have four opponents that liked there hands preflop which makes it more likely that one of them will actually have a better hand than your TPTK
2.) Against most opponents if it is headsup on the flop (Of course you can release it if you have a very good read) |

Re: 200NL - AK -> TPTK
turns an easy fold. I think folding this on the flop the first time in a session you see a line like this is the right play, but i usually flatcall the flop and c/f the turn ui. utg+1's line is so so strong here though, this is never ever AQ or AJ.

but i usually flatcall the flop and c/f the turn ui. utg+1's line is so so strong here though, this is never ever AQ or AJ. [/ QUOTE ] But if it's never AQ or AJ then we have 3 outs to improve against the bottom of his range, 6 outs versus the one hand in his absolute bottom and 0 outs versus the top of his range, gross spot when he bets on the turn even if we hit IMO, and with no draws out there I can't imagine him checking behind on any turn with any hand except AK (if we estimate none of his range consists of draw, which is likely) Edit: a little blurry maybe but I guess what im trying to point out is that improving on the turn is often a blessing in disguise and puts us in a spot were we go broke so often. |

Re: 200NL - AK -> TPTK
i agree, and im not saying its the optimal line, but its definitely not a blessing in disguise, generally the exact opposite. his range is 2 pairs / set and theres more combos of 2 pairs than sets. like i said, folding is definitely the correct play the first time you see this line readless, but his range is probably a poorly played AK, 33, 77, A7, A3, AA 37, and occasionally air with like a gutshot i guess. you are correct this should be a fold on the flop.
