all backup catchers suck who cares about mirabelli
wakefield is a good 4th/5th starter stop bitching today's game did suck tho. the rangers starting pitcher cant throw strikes and that ump couldnt call strikes. that should've been one of those 8 walks three and a half hour games.

Who's going to Opening Day tomorrow?
Also, where's a good place to camp out if I only have Standing Room Only tickets. If it matters, viewing the game matters less to me than proximity to nice bathrooms and beer vendors.

The first baseball season I followed, obessively like only a 9 year old with nothing to do all summer can, was 1978. This is before cable, the big day was Saturday, the Game of the Week! The Red Sox were my team, I was born in Boston, and since my Dad rooted them, I did too. Jim Rice, Freddy Lynn. I had all their cards, check the box scores everyday. What an empty feeling, the lead shrinking, and of course, B*&(#Y D%#T.
Nothing will ever touch 2004. With Poker, the Dharma, and the Ring, my life is set in this world and the next! Well, okay I am lazy and weak, so I suffer, but at least the curse has been put to rest.
