SB showed A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$1.90 NET)

I read Pokey's post about just calling down all the way IP when you're either way ahead or way behind, and not try to take villain out of the lead -- but villain's bets are just too small relative to pot. Should I have raised on the turn? Pokey if you're out there please reply.

Thanks.

You should have raised for value. This is not a WA/WB situation yet per se (in that, you have no evidence here. Any non draw situation is WA/WB, but with evidence to mark it, it really isnt a WA/EB situation)

Given the dry board, I would maybe just call the flop, but pump up the turn given his weak bet, abd valuebet river. A lot more value extracted that way.

Raise flop. You don't want him to donk every single hand. You have a hand that's strong enough to punish him for doing that, so do it.

What's your flop line with air?

good point kroelie, i normally raise flop with air.

was just thinking of extracting max value from the hand and not wanting him to fold a weaker ace
