Default Absolute reneges on brand new promo (points for cash)

Absolute recently offered Elite players the chance to redeem ARPs at 1.5 cents/point without having to accumulate 200K points. I had 100K odd points and emailed them. Here's their response:

Let us inform you that we are now implementing a new "Points for Cash" system and therefore, we are currently putting this specific promotion on hold. It will be available again pretty soon, however, at this moment we will not be able to complete your request.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

In the mean time please feel free to check our VIP tournaments:

---why am I not suprised?

This is the reason I pretty much decided to leave AP for good. It's not that they keep chaning the bonus terms, rakeback terms, BBJ crap... It's that they do things without telling anybody, act completely shady, and then basically tell you to [censored] off. Every time I see that "continue to be the best and most trusted" I just want to laugh...

I looked at my ARP accumulation today after I got done playing. Was the same as normal. Not sure what you guys are talking about.

I'm talking about trading in your ARPs for cash. No one said accumulation was affected.
