You can still play on the classic view. Anyway there will be some nice mods for this soon.

You saw my post explaining how you can get rid of the fold marker right?

[/ QUOTE ]

the classic view is not really the "classic" view.

It gets better when you get rid of the fold and check markers and modify the dealer button. Cards are still too small I agree. I have solid-color card backs in the works, but I can only seem to make them red or white.

You can black out the tables to increase visibility in the meantime. Just rename all those .dat files in the data folder to .jpg and modify them.

Not all the .dat files, but the ones that start with bg and qt, and the one named top.dat.

Doh, and then change their extensions back to .dat

edit: I forgot Classic View uses the old Dealer button

It does look a lot better but it's still pretty darn slow for me... maybe a few hands per hour improvement.

The BBJ seems to be ridiculous also. Anyone playing 1/2-2/4 NL comment on long term effect on winrate? I guess bonus/rakeback make up for it but they're going to cut out 20% of MGR for fees since I'm US player anyway. Not sure if it's worth the trouble of moving some cash over.

Anyone else having problems realizing when it's their turn?

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I can never tell when it's my turn to act unless I constantly scan all my tables. I don't think I'm the only one with this problem either. A lot of regulars seemed to be taking longer than normal and/or timing out, and my hands-per-hour average is waaaay down.

It might be the fact that your cards show in your avatar window, and therefore are less conspicuous? I don't know, but I'm buggin' out over here.

Ps. I modded everything like crazy too (all black background, no avatars, no check/fold markers, bright yellow dealer button... didn't help)

The only solution I can come up with is having the Check/Bet/Call/Fold action buttons be yellow or red or something instead of gray, so when those buttons show, there's more contrast, but since those are bmp files, PhotoShop no-likey.

what pisses me off is that the stack sizes disappear for way too long during game play. Opponent checks, it says check for like 5 seconds, before it goes back to stack size. Not good times.

Yeah, that sucks too... Slows things down a bit, since I wait to act until I can see their stack again.
