I'm not a fan thus far, I think its been the worse reporting in recent memory.

Then you didn't follow the coverage last year...or the year before.

Its been very standard during the WSOP for this forum to be FULL of threads and posts complaining about the coverage. At least there is coverage these days and a hope that eventually it might improve.

Just curious, why aren't you all happy about the coverage? What should there be that is missing?

Could they keep chip counts even moderately updated? There's 20 people left and they show 50+ players with chips still. This is like the very most basic thing they need and they are doing the worst job at it I've ever seen.

Cardplayer wasn't nearly this bad.

I'm very close friends with Flipchip and that claim of getting his badge revoked is bogus. In his words, "That's utter horses**t."

Agreed. This was really pissing me off earlier in the Series, but does seem to have gotten better lately.

I played with the camera man at 1/2 nl Green Valley last night. he seems to be enjoying his time and said only good things about the gig so far.

Yes, the wrong/missing/old chipcounts are really annoying.
Beside that I like their coverage.

Coverage may actually be a bit better overall at this stage than the last couple years. IMO, Harrah's much more at fault than any of the sites.
