Default NL10, AJ OOP

I just sat down, no reads, no stats on villain.

Titan Poker 0.05/0.10, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

saw flop | <font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

Button ($9.09)
SB <font color="#C00000">Hero ($9.90)</font>
BB <font color="#C00000">BB ($5.14)</font>
UTG ($16.35)
UTG+1 ($10.19)
CO ($10.32)

Preflop: Hero is in the SB with J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
4 folds, Hero raises to 0.30, BB calls 0.25.

Flop (0.70) A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero bets 0.50, BB calls 0.50.

Turn (1.70) J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero bets 1.20, BB calls 1.20.

River (4.10) 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero bets 3.09, BB moves all-in for 3.09

What should i do? chceck/call? check/fold?

I approve. It's a somewhat sticky spot, he has the flush here so often. Still, you're not folding with that little money left to bet, and I don't see him bluffing here if you check.

If he shows you the flush, make a note of it next time in a similar spot bet full pots against this villain.

With stack sizes it looks good. There are enough hands out there that you beat that will call a 3/4 pot size bet on the river.

If villan was deep, I might go for a c/c on the river. Give him a chance to add a bluff or worse hand to the mix along with the times that your beat. It would feel nasty having to fold to a raise on the river if villan was deep.
