I'm really amused with people here - it's too bad if I miscalculated this but oh well - I'm not interested in playing for 3rd/4th (which is what I would have been playing for in an alliance with Mets/Zurvan) so it's cool.

i am in the new alliance. once its down to 5, alliances will be re-shaken again. i have a feeling its going to play out as zurv/mets, rt/eskimo, me.

maybe i'm wrong, but thats the feeling i've got

The whole problem here is that if Zurvans proposed alliance today goes through then Dustin was basically right about what he was saying earlier in the game - the best plan is just to be one of the early joiners and become "powerful". I'm seriously offering everyone a chance to shake up the power structure of the game (and have made myself an easy target in the process) but I really feel like the five people I named stand the best chance of winning by getting rid of Mets and Zurvan now. I think any of you who are going with Mets/Zurv are making a big strategic mistake here.

If you guys generally don't agree that your best shot is getting rid of Mets/Zurv now then I'm toast - that's the chance I took to start the day the way I did. I stand by it though.
