and i'm about to get to 180000 points on full tilt. i'm going to get the 24 inch monitor, booyah. is it theoretically possible to hook up this hooge of a monitor to my little dell laptop... or should i just wait and get until 400k and get the 50 inch plasma?

Size isn't important in monitors it's the resolution. It shouldn't have any problem with a 24 inch monitor, they aren't usually super high resolution.
