Re: AQ SB Line Check
[ QUOTE ]
in hindsight i lost the least amount of money on the hand, UTG turned up AKcc [/ QUOTE ] This probably isn't the best thinking here. I mean yeah you lost the least amount possible, but you also lost alot of value by not raising enough on the turn. Coupled with the fact you didn't raise pf which I think is also a mistake. Don't look at the results of just this hand. There are a few things here others have mentioned that will improve your game long term. |

Re: AQ SB Line Check
Yea I raise preflop here like all the time unless the utg limper is really really tight, but since you have no reads, easy pop like others have said. As played I think you did fine, you really only get a big pot if he he holds an ace too so I dont mind leading the flop.

Re: AQ SB Line Check
Limp is OK versus UTG limp OOP this deep. Preflop raise is also OK.
I would check to the limper with an ace high flop. Limper will almost always bet representing an ace. I might check/call all the way. You didn't lose the least amount against AK. If you raise, UTG probably limpreraises and you probably fold. |
