Kobe makes his teammates better when he wants to, just as much, if not more so, than any other star player.

The problem is he's more selfish than not, so that want is rather rare and is always fickle.

Kobe is not:
1) a drama queen
2) selfish

Kobe can:
1) create his own shot at will
2) attack the rim at will

just grunching to corrent nonsense

Neither Deng nor Gordon got contract extensions.

Pretty much solidifying in my mind a trade happening. Not necessarily for Kobe though.

I'm talking about people unfairly bashing Kobe, not overvaluing their homegrown talent.

[/ QUOTE ]

My point still stands then. There are going to be fans in every city that are going to bash Kobe and not want them on their team. Just like they're are baseball fans that don't want A-Rod or Bonds.

[ QUOTE ]
I realize most of these posts are from one retarded fan, and I realize there are many many smart, knowledgeable Bulls fans. But there are also many idiotic Bulls fans like this, and don't deserve to watch Kobe play every night for their team (a joy I will never get for my lousy ran team).

But I'm a big Kobe supporter, and obviously a lot of people don't like him, but it doesn't make me retarded to think some fans don't deserve him after reading many posts bashing him.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, but you didn't say "some fans." You said, "...their fans..." meaning all Bulls fans.

I haven't read the thread, and I don't know much about trade deals, but I was just watching sportscenter and Kobe denied the trade because he didn't wanna play for the Bulls if Deng wasn't there? Why doesn't he just [censored] say that he wants the best 4 people traded to his team and then he'll stay at the Lakers? He sounds like a [censored] imo.

The thing is...even if they could pull it off, Kobe/Deng/Hinrich still can't match the big three of the Celtics, Suns, Spurs, or Dallas.

Kobe's ego is a little big IMO if he thinks that he and Luol can compete for a championship.

Apparently the bulls are willing to trade Deng, but Kobe won't accept a deal that doesn't leave deng on the bulls.
