Default 100NL: JJ OOP in 3-bet pot

Villain is a regular and seems to be solid at 21/18/2.67 (131). We've tangled a couple times when I 3-bet him pf and here are the previous hands:

Hand 1

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

UTG ($100)
MP ($225.75)
CO ($79.90)
Button ($330.10)
SB ($89.15)
Hero ($100)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $14</font>, UTG calls $10.

Flop: ($28.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $21</font>, UTG calls $21.

Turn: ($70.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $65 (All-In)</font>, UTG folds.

Final Pot: $135.50

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
No showdown. Hero wins $135.50. </font>

Hand converter won't work on the second hand, but I 3-bet his button raise with AQo from the blinds, and he folded to my c-bet on a K53r flop.

Actual hand:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

UTG ($122.40)
MP ($231.05)
CO ($100)
Button ($329.05)
SB ($85.20)
Hero ($114.35)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $14</font>, UTG calls $10.

Flop: ($28.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $23</font>, UTG calls $23.

Turn: ($74.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, UTG checks.

River: ($74.50) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $36</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $110.50

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
UTG doesn't show.
Outcome: UTG wins $110.50. </font>

His check behind on the turn confused me. Does he play a set or straight this way? Are my bet sizes on the flop in both hands ok? Comments on both hands are welcome. Thanks!

Looks like if you're beat he made 2 pair on the river cause all the straight/draw+pair and 2 pair or set hands fire turn. Getting 3:1 I would quickly call for the times he has J8, K10 etc

I don't think he ever has those hands in this spot. Anyone else call this river ever?

Its a strange bet, but you dont beat anything but 1010.
Could be valuebetting AKs. I think I fold.

i call these bets a lot on the river when the turn checks through like this, especially getting 3:1 on my money. but unless he's betting w/total air, i can't put him on a hand here than we beat. maybe KhQh or a really small pair (22-33), or TT. ugh, i hate folding here considering the action, but so many hands beat us.
