Should Canadians be putting money online in hopes to cash out at a later date for a better rate?

Well according to the "Experts", the canadian dollar might be worth MORE than the USD by this time next year. So unless you wanna keep your money online for X number of years you might as well take it out now.

Unless you know better (trust me you don't, neither do I), you can't predict currency markets so you should try to keep most of your net worth in the currency you spend in. Say you spend 50% of your income in CAD and 50% in USD, then keep your cash in that ratio. Makes sense?

Beat: I have more $ in US than I do in CAD (incl. savings) and I'm Canadian . Everything I cash a check I feel a bit sick about losing so much value. And my friends keep on telling me [censored] like "ZOMG WE REACHED 0.98 TODAY" every other week. :X
