I vote for Sublime or JofA for their ability to whip at UZRA stats at the drop of a hat rendering all arguments moot.

I hate the red sox but Sublime/JofA seems to know their [censored] when it comes to baseball.

JoA has too many deep rooted issues with general population fans. I think he may have been dropped from upper-reserve at a young age.

Sublime is fairly level headed, just has terrible taste.

what does sports knowledge have to do with whether they should be a mod?

people are making this out to be some kind of magical discovery quest. being a mod is not complicated, you spot the trolls and ban them. there are at least 10 posters who would do a good job. it doesnt make a difference.

Frankly, I'd be against most of the posters on this particular forum. Why not Jim Kuhn since he's quiet, restrained, and already a mod?

[/ QUOTE ]

sounds about right.

They also happen to be two of the biggest trolls on this forum, hence, intrinsically bad choices for modship.

what exactly constitutes a troll in the sports forum?

I'd understand if someone is posting duplicate threads/spamming/ etc...but given I doubt anyone here actually has any actual idea about what they are argueing about short of what they crib off ESPN/internet/etc...what do Sublime or JofA do that makes them trolls?

why do you think this would make them "do a bad job"? its not a very intensive task, you ban maybe one person a week and delete a couple dumb threads. theres no way to [censored] it up.
