Default standard river situation

Villain is unknown, he doesnt seem to play like a standard tag, limping a bit PF, no other reads.

FWIW, he tanked a little bit b4 calling turn.

Do you think there is more value in letting him bluff here or in betting ourselves ? IMO a lot of what we beat is med pp and whiffed FDs (which he folds to a bet)

I'd bet like 18 or so. I think he'll look you up light.

If you check definitely check/fold. I think he always has a made hand here.

So do you b/f then? Also, you don't think he'll bluff with whiffed FDs/straight draws (66)?

I didn't think he'd call the turn with those hands. So no I'm not worried about getting bluffed off on the river, and I think he checks back very often. Thats what I meant by I think he always has a made hand here. If you think he's often drawing on the turn, then I'd rather check/call than any other line.

But what is he gonna call me with? It looks like if I bet, he's gonna fold what I beat and if I check, he's gonna bet what beats me. But even with that logic, I obv never c/f this lol.

I really don't see the value in betting. What worse hand is ever going to call? like A6?

Checking is way better imo
