But you make a good point that I hadn't really considered. It also limits my wins.

Yah, there's nothing theoretically wrong with buying in for 50bb. One might argue that you're slowing your learning since you're going to spend the majority of your NL time playing 100bb.

Other than that though, there's nothing wrong with it. Just always be conscious of its effects on your implied odds.

Hey Bona,
I've been trying this nl thing recently also, and am as much a rookie as you. I am wondering, however, if, given the villians stats, would anyone consider a reraise of the pot in hand 1 pf?
