Speaking of Jack Johnson, he's officially gone. Even flew out to LA after the game instead of back to Ann Arbor. No one is surprised, but still a huge loss.

Oh well. I'm looking forward to Minnesota working over NoDak tomorrow

Ha! UND was unstoppable the second half of the season.

Oesa (?) for ND got the lamest hat trick I can remember

T.J. Oshie. I don't think there is such a thing as a lame hat trick. Where is the love for UND?

North Dakota is a great team, I have to think that whoever wins this game SHOULD win it all.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ahhhh there it is! What a tough Regional, brutal reward for Minnesota earning the top seed.

North Dakota vs BC should be a great game. The Duncan, Oshie, Toews line is just SICK. Congrats to Duncan getting the Hobey finalist nod even though it will go to Brown or Ehn after playing their weaksauce schedules.

Well, as a Michigan fan, I can't say I can find much love for them after the last two years...

As far as lame hat tricks, obviously you should never apologize for scoring, but this was mostly a consequence of Michigan letting him score, rather than making any affirmatively good/great plays. OTOH, when the opposing team is letting everything in, throwing the puck at the net whenever possible, even from impossible angles, is probably a good strategy.

Speaking of the Hobey, when do they announce the winner?

Ugh, MSU down early, and not looking good so far. Hopefully they'll start playing soon.

Still, this game is worth watching just for the hilarious size difference between the two goalies.

bleh, BC disposes of Miami pretty easily in the 2nd round and the Golden Eagles are off the Frozen Four.

Big congrats to Miami winning an NCAA tourney game for the first time ever.

[/ QUOTE ]

I watched this game and was pissed BC won. Miami controlled the first half of the game, easily.

Yeah, I turned it on after the Maple Leafs disaster. Nice shot just there by BC to take the lead.

UND's goalie has saved their bacon the whole game.

Except for that one. Looks like its Bc's game.

UND's penalties just killed them, but we'll see. I'm expecting an awesome finish.
