Default Problem involving my rakeback affiliate

Few weeks ago I decided to switch to UB, so I signed up through my rakeback affiliate's link, signed up on UB, etc.. Then I informed them of my username and such, and all was set to go.

But since then my rake hasn't been registering (it shows as 0.00 all the time) and my affiliate is looking into it with their affiliate manager.

My question is, is my affiliate "obligated" to pay me the rakeback I should have gotten during this time I lost, or would this usually just be written off? I just wonder what the unwritten rules are here, should I even ask them to compensate me for this technical issue?

thanks for any advice.

My guess is that if they get you tracked they will get paid retroactively. This is just a logical guess. I'm sure an affiliate will give their opinion from experience.

while we are not the affiliate in question, for whatever reason, sometimes tracking for UB for rakeback does not work just by using the affiliate link. If you used the rakeback affiliate's bonus code (if they provided this to you), your affiliate should be able to contact their affiliate manager and confirm that you are indeed tracked, even though you may not be showing up in their reports currently. Even if you did not use a bonus code, you still may have been tracked correctly. Once you are on their reports, your rakeback affiliate will have access to your rakeback stats and you will also receive any rakeback you have earned since your account inception as UB will still have tracked your play even if you were not showing on the affiliates report...so yes, Pokeraddict, you are correct in that they should be paid retroactively.

All of the above is of course assuming you signed up correctly, but if you have done so, you should be ok and should get paid all of your rakeback that you have earned.

Best of luck!

If you signed up correctly and did not have a previous UB account you will/should be credited with all MGR since the day you made your account. UB is pretty slow about responding to emails though and it can take up to a week to fully verify a new player and have the stats tracking properly.

Also it is important that you use Internet Explorer when you create the account, for whatever reason there are problems with other browsers.

Hmm I used Firefox to signup. Could it be UB hasn't recorded me correctly on their side?

Yes, UB trackers DO NOT WORK with firefox. Most affiliates mention this in the signup process.

Yes, using Firefox at UB seems to cause problems with tracking.
