There is no better game than the 40-80 game at the Commerce. There are at least two 40 games going 24/7. One of the games is always good. And you can count on at least one 20 game and a one 60 game going about 20 hours a day.

CAZ you can count on a 20 game 16 hours a day and a 40 game about 20 hours a day. The shorthanded starter games aren't that great because the props(whom are good players and one could play much higher if he really wanted) like to play 9-5 hours.

60 holdem hasn't been going as strong in Phoenix this year. A bunch of the action players died, got arretesd, or lost too much money.

CAZ is good. But it doesn't have near the depth of the Commerce games. I wish I could stand living in LA. I would move there in a heart beat. I don't want to give up my guns and pay an extra $250,000 to replace my house.

There is probably some remote casino, in like Alabama, that has the best action in the world, because the good players there are smart enough not to run their mouths in an internet forum like us...

Not even close. Commerce. I don't see how it gets any better. I've been to Vegas 50 times in the past 5 years, playing a minimum of 15 hours each time at $8-16 to $20-40. Only twice have I had tables that are better games than an average game at Commerce.

All you need to know is that Commerce runs 6-8 tables of $20-40 and more than that of $40-80 on weekend evenings and that the games are available 24/7. I don't see how anyone can match that. I'd guess that the number of tables running from $8-16 level up to $60-120 level on any given Friday or Saturday night in Los Angeles area exceeds the number of tables at that level NATIONWIDE on the same night.

This was discussed at length in this post

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...part=1&vc=1

The consensus top 5 for mid limit holdem ended up like this

1)LA
2)Northern CA
3)Arizona
4)Minnesota
5)Atlantic City

For pure number of games I don't think LA can be beat but if you account for other factors as well some of these others can be just as good. Vegas was way down the list (7th) because there are not many mid-limit games to be found there these days.
