Default balancing strategy here?

I've been playing a little aggressive but not out of line.. this player seems very aggressive. 25/20/2.8. I think most of the time he raises here he's on air-- AK, AA probly rr pf and hes smoothecalling with suited crap a lot more than
4's or 8's.

Can I ever 3-bet bluff w/nothing here, or save 3-betting for flushdraws,AK-AA? If you do 3-bet ever here what would your bet size be?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($203)
MP ($171.75)
CO ($134.50)
Button ($224)
SB ($201.45)
BB ($179.75)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $8</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Button calls $8, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $14</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $42</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $47

You can but there are better spots where you'll have outs.

Re: 3 bet size - with these stacks I'd just shove it in.

yah i don't like this spot to come back over with a play only thing you have going for you is that you're UTG but the board is pretty drawy and an aggressive player like this wont fold KQ, KJ.

If he has really been getting out of line with his c/r you could float his raise and get a better idea of whether or not he has a hand in position on the turn, i.e. if he checks try to take it down with a smallish $70 bet. I prefer this play on rainbow or paired boards though.

well, you could 3 bet and then get snapcalled by KT-KQ of spades pretty fast.

against good players i generally don't 3-bet this often without a strong read or without connecting with the board in some way.
