Default Selling Pieces of myself in WSOP stud tourney

Hello All,

For those who are new to the forum, you probably don't know me. I have been playing 40-80 through 150-300 stud professionally for the last two years in Atlantic City and 30/60 online.

I plan on selling up to 50% of myself in the $1500 WSOP stud event to the highest bidder. So far I have sold 10% of myself for $300, which means I have 40% left. The minimum I will sell for is $15 per 1%. Keep in mind that they give out WG-2 forms at these event so anything won will be taxable (unless you can deduct other gambling loses). Please PM me for details.

Regards,
Carlos

PS. Lookout for post from me about similar deals concerning the 2K and 5K events after the 1.5K event.

Default Terms and Logistics

I got a couple PMs concerning logistics, so below I have given the general terms of agreement. To make the agreement legally binding, I will email a signed copy of these terms to anyone that buys.

-The WSOP entry fees include dealer tips and I do not plan to make any deals. Therefore your payout will be exactly the agreed upon percentage of my published tournement payout. The only exception to this is if it become heads-up and I deem the other player to be of comparable skill heads-up (I have tons of heads up online experience, but if the blinds stakes are high enough there is not much skill involved heads up). In that case I would agree to a chop based on a chip count with the other finalist.

-You must have paid for your piece by the evening of June 7th. You may pay via player transfer on any poker site that accepts US players, check, money order, or in cash. To pay in cash you can find me from 6/2-6/6 at the Commerce Casino in LA or on 6/7 at the Bellagio in Vegas. I would also accept cash on the morning of the event (6/8) at the Rio.

-If I cash in the tournement you must be willing and able to provide all your tax information (social security number and address) by the end of the tournament so that the Rio can issue multiple W-2G's. Since this is a two day tournament, if you give me your phone number I would be willing to call you at the end of the first day to let you know if it looks like I will be cashing or not, and you could provide your info at that time.

-I will pay out any winnings in the same form that you paid me. If the winnings are too large to pay in cash or via player transfer i will mail you a check/money order.

If you have any other logistical questions, please reply to this thread.

-Carlos

If you are interested in taking a look at some of my strategies for stud tournaments (so you know what you are buying!) check out my response to 7n7 on his thread about David Grey's tournament strategy.

Default Minimum Purchase

The minimum that I would be will to sell is 5% per person, because I don't want to deal with selling little pieces to more than 10 people. So that would be $150. I would be willing to sell less than $150 to you if you pay a premium to the $30/1% rate that I gave earlier. I'd be willing to sell at $45/1% for amounts under $150.

Nope, no staking requests outside of maybe a low content thread.
