lol everybody has good advise for mr. townsend.
"you have been bluffing too much, your opponents call you more easily" "move down a level, you gotta do it" "take a break" "you are a moron, luck is over" "analyze your game" etc. If I were Brian I would def. not write a blog to read how my former sponsors advise me how to play high stakes better.

Why anyone would get off on someone elses misfortunes just baffles me. The guy is stand up enough to actually post this stuff for the world to see. Most people are not near as honest as aba has been with the community. I can only wish him a strong rebound and hope to see him continue to do great things.

I assume luckyjimm's posse just created the 15M number out of thin air. Sounds way high regardless considering all the datamining that is done.

It was obviously enough that he could afford to take a few decent sized hits in that game before deciding to quit it. On top of that he was majorly +EV in the Big Game that was running. If he was mentally comfortable w/ the stakes then it would be crazy for him not to sit.

[/ QUOTE ] I don't follow him as much as some here, but he does seem level headed. There is a perverse poker effect where good level-headed players see every downswing as the end of the world, and exaggerate their effect. Going busto on an online account probably doesn't mean much, because with the climate today I can't see a good player keeping much of their net worth online.
