Default QQ on 555 board 3bet vs nitty coldcaller

UTG is 38/24 and MP is TAG. Here the problem. The cold caller on my left is 15/6/6 over 500 hands. Standart nit, doesn`t gets out of line. It`s not piscogay btw.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

MP ($50.20)
Button ($55.40)
Hero ($52.25)
BB ($44.50)
UTG ($26.95)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.50, MP raises to $2.5, Button calls $2.50, Hero raises to $9, BB calls $8.50, UTG folds, MP folds, Button folds.

Flop: ($23.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $10, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $23.50

jessicaalbiel/CyberianBull, thanks for replies. I just can`t see him cold calling 20% of his stack with AK here, Especialy considering his stat. I`m almost certain he can only have AA here, since I think KK he 4bets. If he thought that I was squeezing the loose preflop raiser and caller, he would have 4bet me preflop.

dude, you have to have a pretty sick read to know you're beat here. that's a w/t fold and you know it.

c4ll4w4y, thanks for reply. What range do you put villain on? According to his stats 15/6/6 he`s a winning player (I know only 500 hands). Also He`s aggro, but I haven`t see him get out of line, and my read is he wouldn`t make big mistakes, like calling for set value with bad implied odds etc.

Cold calling with AKs there is real bad too. Remember I`m pretty nitty myself, so that`s the image he has from me.

15/6/6...i'm giving him TT and JJ a greater percentage than KK and AA. if you're weak/tight like villain preflop, then you're scared of all the action behind you with a hand like KK and AA. you don't want to trap more players in the hand, so you raise it. in reality, i think he's scared of all the action but likes his hand just enough that he can't let it go.

He has something like JJ or the unlikely QQ, and AK, he'd be raising anything else.

Your read may be slightly off, in that he doesn't know how to play a high mid-pp or AK when there's been a strong rr, despite being a winning nit. His raising range may be tiny, but I think the disparity in vpip and pfr indicates that he calls when he should be raising his too tight range.

Bet the flop, he'll call, then he'll fold turn when you push (I may be remembering stacks wrong.)

TT-QQ
