You're so tight preflop that your other stats will be totally off. So other than playing at least double the hands and raising 3 times as much it's impossible to say.

Your attempt to steal blinds is too low. When this rises it is most likely your VP$IP will also rise along with your PFR%. You are most likely folding hands in late position that are good enough to open/raise with.

awesome feedback guys.

I had a feeling I wasn't trying to steal enough. Is my blind defense in the ballpark?

No, I would seek you out to sit on my left.

Things that work to my advantage would be:
- You will fold a lot preflop, allowing me to open very wide.
- Your PFR means you will rarely 3bet me PF to punish me for my greed
- When you do call, you will fold a lot of flops.
- When you show aggression it will be fairly straightforward to understand where you are.

When you increase your VPIP by adding hands in later positions, and by defending a bit more, then your game becomes harder to play against. It'll be a requirement as you move up.

You read me like a book. I've only very recently started 3betting late position raisers.

This feedback is both exciting and humbling at the same time.

A bit off topic but how is the 1/2 game compared to the .5/1? My bankroll warrants the move but based on what everyone has said perhaps I should patch some leaks before moving up?

The read isn't on you, it's on your stats. They can be changed.

As for .50/1.00 -> 1/2 I rarely play at Stars so can't provide insight into that. Usually you'll see a little less cold calling, and a little more preflop raising between those two levels. But as I said, don't have firsthand experience of what they play like now.

Another way to bump vpip and pfr is 3betting later position aggressive raisers when you have position. It's easier to get comfortable playing from the button then the big blind, and then you increase your abilities from the blind. Playing some heads up (at a level where you wont get killed by the rake), is also another way to learn how to get comfortable that you can play more hands but not turn into a crazy - raise the turn with nothing spew monkey

You can play nitty and win at 1/2 and 2/4 on Stars...I have. I've been working on the exact things mentioned to you in this thread but doing at the lower stakes levels and I haven't had much luck with it so far...but I'm trying.

I'll give 1/2 a shot and try and patch these leaks as I go. If things head south I can always move back down...
