I found this interesting From P5's:

You'll never guess who called....AP?
by BigSanka on 10/19/2007 18:55

Yes, AP called me and informed me that they will be putting $500.00 into my acct. as a result of my personal information being sent out in the infamous HH. AJKhoosier posted the other day about receiving an email from APwatchdog, the same email I received, so I can only imagine that all users who's personal info. was made public will receive the same $500.00. In my brief conversation the rep. sounded as though they were making a lot of these calls, but didn't give out any new info.

I may have missed this being posted earlier, but here's the latest MSNBC.com story (not associated press, their own story) and its on the front page of MSNBC right now:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21381022/

By latest, it says it was updated at 7:14 EST. Also it is the main story, not sure if it has been for awhile. Last time I had checked this thread this "geek" story wasn't out yet.

Yeah, lead story, big graphic of Potripper's table with the caption " 'Geek's' ruse reveals how online poker can be hacked " Not good for the fish pool.

I posted that I didn't believe we'd proven there was a coverup, I'm pretty sure we are there now.

I've never met seif or talked to him in any way.

Is this in addition to being refunded the buy-in for the tournament. As I said before I think AP is trying to just pass out a ton of money to everyone and hope that's enough to make them shut up and go back to business as usual.

Ike,
Keep in mind that the "mob" of posters here helped put pressure on AP to realize they had a serious problem and have brought them this much closer to the truth. Granted, the investigators did a lot and deserve most of the credit, but without the screaming mob, it would have gone nowhere.
