[NL50 SH] TP against calling station : call shove on river?
Hello,
Villain is a passive calling station, saw him once min-check-raise on a dry flop an folding to a bet on the river. His stats after 68 hands are 38/0/0.87. I bet the river this weak to induce a bluff and/or to make him call with crap. He called a lot and folded on the river. Even if I induced a bluff with this weak bet, I can't call this river shove or is it possible he does this as a bluff. Re: [NL50 SH] TP against calling station : call shove on river?
Bet a little more on the turn, and a little more on river. With an AF that low he's very rarely going to try to bluff raise your river bet so it's an easy fold. But you should bet more because he's a calling station and you have top pair. b/f river is typically a good line in these situations.
