No, I think Orenstein invented the concept itself. According to the Bigger Deal book, he gets royalties every time a pocket cam is used on any televised poker broadcast.

Maybe Orenstein invented the under the table cam and this guy developed the lipstick cam comment.

I'm not really that invested in it either way, other than I think Orenstein is a cool guy.
