Friend of mine intends to sell an egg from her uterus for $7000 or so. Young professional, greedy as ever, and seems absolutely deadset on going through with this.

Dunno the inherent risks to doing so, but I would assume there are some for this procedure. Another mutual friend of ours says it's no worse than a guy jerking into a cup, this still sounds way crazier.

Anyone got any other examples?

Dementia - is your friend aware of the prep-work involved/required in harvesting an acceptable egg? IIRC She will have to maintain a certain regime for some time before she can donate an egg (pills/diet/etc).

Ughh...you do know that this mainly goes to help couples who can't otherwise give natural birth? She's not putting herself in much danger and this is on par with giving somebody a kidney in terms of altruism. I don't really think the money is the main issue here, but I don't find this very reprehensible at all.

To see retarded things people do for money just turn on any channel of your TV.
