Keep showing up at his work and asking for it.

Be persistent but polite -- don't make him dig his heals in. He'll eventually decide payment solves his work embarrassment problem. Be politely stubborn when people try to get rid of you. If you get hostile, then that becomes the reason for bodily ejecting you.

That's if you want the money.

be honest.......in a fair fight, could this guy kick your ass? if so then he has a huge mental edge over you. so you have to take that mental edge back somehow. my suggestion, smash his face in with the stock of a sawed off shot gun, then as he lies there bleeding let him know there wont be any more second chances and leave it at that.....

over/under on how long it takes op to get his money if he does what i say..... like 1 day. otherwise NEVER LDO.

You obviously got to apply muscle to this situation. If you don't have the requisite muscle find a friend who does and give him a cut of what he collects. Or you can whine about it on an internet message board.
