They run a lot of genetics tests. He had to provide a full family history and some other stuff. The test the effed him had something to do with a chromosome.

He was looking at at least $700 IIRC.

Extracting eggs is a MUCH more intensive procedure than sperm donation. Basically, a woman's body is programmed to only release one egg per month. So the woman has to inject herself with hormones every day for I a week (or 2?) to force the body to make multiple eggs mature at the same time. Then, as the time for donation nears, the doctor repeatedly checks the ovaries (using a vaginal ultrasound device) to see if the eggs are ready. Then, the doctor inserts another device to extract the eggs.

So it's a lot more annoying than sitting in a room with a cup and a porno mag. Plus, there's the risk of Ovarian Hyperstimulation from taking all the hormones.

-You can make a ton of $$ from donating sperm, as in 50-70k/yr. thats right, shooting into a cup

-You need to be a genetic god. top athlete, +3SD level IQ, good looks, perfect family health, etc

-If this works for women, I assume the women who get tons of money have incredbile genetic material

-The reason you don't see trailer park people doing this (man or women) is that they typically have inferior genetic material, otherwise they probably wouldn't be in a trailer park in the first place

How'd that work out? At the jizz shop here, one of the requirements for donation is no ejaculation within the past week. I'd expect that's standard, to extract a good volume.

I looked into it while in college looking to scrape some extra dough and most of the places I found would only allow 3 donations/wk and you had to be 5'10"+ No way you could drag +50k.
