Big draw but scary call from button 200NL
Both villians are fishing it up huge and seems to have a hard time laying hands down when they've got involved in medium-big pots. Button is running like 75/40 (4-handed though) but is playing passive postflop. One hand before he raised it up 4x bb pre, got called by one player, bet half the pot on the flop of 258 r, villian raised to 27, he called with 10j and raised villians turnbet when hitting the J.
Sb is an agressive donkey that I was pretty sure I had beat in this specific hand, I miniraised only to isolate(note, it's pretty much allin for villian), since I knew he'd call me with hands I beat (yes, you heard it right). Is turn a valuebet or an easy check? Re: Big draw but scary call from button 200NL
whats up with your tiny preflop raise? should be to $10 or so at 1/2 from the BB. and raise flop to $75-80 like tubasteve said.

Re: Big draw but scary call from button 200NL
raise to 8 preflop, raise flop to 60... c/c 1/2 pot or so on turn, and c wut riv comes- maybe u can value bet ur k's and fold to a raise (on riv) or if u hit ur gutterball or diamond draw obv bet.

Re: Big draw but scary call from button 200NL
Preflop: Why the pot sweetener out of position with this type of hand? I don't get it. If you want to play this hand 3-way, just check. If you want to get it heads up or take it down right here, put in a real raise to like $10.
Flop: I'd put in a pot size raise here. I see your reasoning for the min raise, but I still want to make the button pay if he wants to come along. You only have K-high here. A great draw mind you, but on a paired board. I'd raise it to about $75 here. |

Re: Big draw but scary call from button 200NL
yes, the raise preflop is too small, but it made it 7 total since I was in the bb, not 5 if that's what you think.
I don't really care about preflop though, postflop is the thing. |

Re: Big draw but scary call from button 200NL
So, we raise to about 75 on the flop, what is our turn action when getting called?

Re: Big draw but scary call from button 200NL
As others have said, PFR is much too small.
I'd like a flop raise to at least $60. On the turn, assuming the SB checks, I'm probably committing myself to the pot. |

[/ QUOTE ] Two things, you should care about preflop, because you played it poorly. $7 is too small as well. Second, fix your HHs. The preflop says you raised it to $5 and the flop pot says it is $15...so, how are we supose to help you if you don't give us the correct information. What should you do when that flop bet gets called and the turn is a K, shove! |

Re: Big draw but scary call from button 200NL
SB got 5 left on turn, so he's not really in the hand anymore.
